Water in Tantra is not used as a medium of physical purification only but as a medium through which purification is done throughout in the mind, the body and the soul. In this treatment, a stream of warm/cold water is splashed on the entire body, enriched with some healing salt to get rid of negativity, fresh flower petals to attract positive energy, and natural scrubs made by hand, in order to cleanse the skin. All its ingredients-be it salt, scrub or oil, are handmade with love and a clear motive of purity, in the age-old technique. The chakras are activated by gentle mantras, conscious breathing and energy balancing procedures, and the nadis (energy channels) are opened and balances of prana (life energy) are restored.
